Received this order of Mistral MSF1679R price S$60.10 in excellent condition and is working fine as it should. As already have one MSF1678, made a comparison of these 2 Mistral fans... Mistral MSF1679R pros: (1) Remote control (uses 2 AAA batteries) can work 3 metres away, (2) got silent mode other than 3 speed modes of Low Mid High, (3) Timer max. setting 7.5 hrs (4h +2h + 1h + 0.5h), Con: (1) 5-leaf Blade unable to project strong wind beyond 1 metre and on High speed mode not as quiet as Mistral MSF1678....No wonder saw another buyer change this 5-leaf Blade to a 3-leaf Blade... ... Mistral MSF1678 has a stronger faster motor and is more quiet and has a 3-leaf blade that can project strong wind over 2 metres away but does not have a remote and its Timer max setting is only 120 mins....Will not choose a 5-Leaf Blade Fan in future as it is unable to project strong wind further and is noisier st High speed.more review

Fan seems a bit unstable , the middle screw to join the two parts do not have proper hole & there’s only an indent . Speed also not very fast
