Answer: Hi Customer, This is upgraded 4 stages filtration Hepa filter, different layer remove different particle, like virus, bacteria, PM2.5, pollen, dust, smoke, allergie, mold, dustmite...last layer honeycomb charcoal can remove odour and humidity, can't wash, have to exchange new Hepa, Hepa filter using period about 3-6 months, it depend your usage and environment condition, you can always open the front case to check the Hepa filter condition if too dirty then have to change it.
