Hi, as there are other natural ingredients inside the rose floral with aloe vera beauty spray, there is slight alcohol inside to protect the ingredients and allow the effectiveness to last longer. Hi, the rosewater isnt the sweet smeling synthetic (artificial) rose fragrance we are used to. As it is from an agricultural product, the plant extracts will tend to have a more plant like smell, which some may consider the scent to be more on the sour scale. It is normal and we can assure you that it is not suppose to smell like the strong rose perfume. The rosehip seed oil is suitable for dehydrated acne prone skin, you may use it after the toning face with the rosewater. Thank you!
