Useful during lockdown with no access to a barber. Only issue is that there is no heating indicator to tell you when it's heated. So if you accidentally leave it plugged in for too long, it will cool off. You'll have to restart the heating but the thermostat will prevent you from doing so immediately. ie there's an absolute refractory time you need to keep in mind. It's really inconvenient.
